Welcome to Divinitree Yoga Studio in Santa Barbara! We’re happy to have you. Here are a few tips / FAQs to help you out.
New Students: If you are new to the studio, please arrive 15 minutes before class so we can give you a quick orientation of the space and so you have time to fill out our liability waiver. Have more questions about yoga in general? Visit our “New to Yoga?” page!
Parking: There is ample parking around Divinitree! If you don’t have enough time to circle around the surrounding streets or would like to hang out past the the 75-minute parking time limit, please park in the lots located at the corners of Canon Perdido and Anacapa or Ortega and Anacapa. These lots are only 1 block away from the yoga studio and are free for the first 75 minutes, then $1.50 for each hour thereafter. Check out our “Parking” page for details.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before class so we can all begin together.
Cafe: The superfood cafe - Kotuku - is separately owned and offers incredibly healthy smoothies, elixirs, and snacks. We encourage you to nourish your body after class with their drinks and foods.
Payments: All payments are due at the time of service. We take all cards, but appreciate cash as we pay relatively steep credit card fees. :)
Mats: We currently offer mats free of charge. However, we’ll be ordering new (and much nicer) mats by the end of 2018 and at that time, we will be renting mats for $2.
Mat Cleaner: We provide a mix of tea tree oil and water in a spray bottle for you to use as a mat cleaner.
Towels: We provide community towels to clean mats with. If you need a personal towel to use during your practice, kindly bring one from home.
Scents: Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes, cologne, or deodorant in the studio.
Belongings: Feel free to store your belongings in the cubbies inside the studio.
Cell Phones: Please fully turn off your cell phones (rather than just putting it on vibrate) so we can ensure a peaceful practice.
Water: We offer reverse-osmosis filtered water for your convenience and health. Please bring a re-usable water bottle to help reduce waste.
Bathroom: Please put on your shoes before entering the bathroom so our class space stays as clean as possible.
Community: Feel free to hang out before or after class! We would love to get to know you.
