Meet Your Teachers


RACHEL WILKINS - Founder & Lead Trainer

For Rachel Wilkins E-RYT// YACEP yoga is an expression of the cosmic, creative pulse that connects us all. Her yoga classes are a soulful tapestry of creative movement, somatic awareness, spontaneous flow, thoughtful choreography, open meditation and transformative pranayama. Rachel’s evolutionary approach to yoga is inspired by seasonal energetic shifts, lunar cycles, the radiance of the sun, the steadiness of the mountains, the fluid churning of the waves, the cleansing flow of the wind and the wild dance of the heart flames.

She has and continues to study under living yoga masters: her initial 200 hr certification was completed in 2011 with Tracey Rich and Ganga White of the White Lotus Foundation, followed by advanced studies under their guidance. Shortly after, Rachel completed an intensive training in Thai Massage with Phoebe Diftler. She has been studying with Shiva Rea since 2014 and received her 500hrs under the Prana Vinyasa lineage. In the Spring of 2017 she led her first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Divinitree Santa Barbara and continues to lead trainings, privates and small group classes, retreats and workshops locally and globally.


Dr Jacob Martin: Applied Anatomy & Physiology

Dr Jacob has been on the path to being a chiropractor since he was 11 years old. After graduating from Duke University, Dr. Jacob attended Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus in San Jose, California, graduating as a chiropractor in 2010. There, he elected to learn nine specialized adjusting techniques and advanced clinical nutritional training, providing him with specialized knowledge to better serve his patients. Dr. Jacob was the recipient of the prestigious Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award, the highest award given at graduation at Palmer College, awarded to one graduating student per class. He has served as the primary clinician in the highest volume chiropractic practice in Ventura County, California, and to date has delivered nearly 100,000 chiropractic adjustments. He is certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster Technique for pregnant women, is a certified Reiki healer, and he is the founder and lead clinician of Inner Strength Chiropractic, a successful vitalistic chiropractic office in Santa Barbara specializing in prenatal and family care.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Jacob teaches that the nervous system is the mind’s connection to the world. When there is interference in the nervous system due to a spinal subluxation, integration within the body is decreased. Specific chiropractic adjustments remove nervous system interference and allow for optimal communication between the brain and body. This allows for the highest life expression and health for the body, mind, and spirit.




Brandon Kaysen: Experiential Sound Healing

Brandon Kaysen is dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring passion, creating harmony and spreading love through his teachings and sonic-yoga experiences. His personal practice is grounded in the studies of yoga, zen, and environmental awareness. While Brandon has been exploring spirituality his entire life, he began studying and facilitating sacred sound meditations in 2012. Brandon’s mentor, Sotantar Suraj, inspired his journey into Kundalini Yoga and sacred sound during a vital time in his journey - exposing new pathways toward self-mastery. Brandon is a fellow traveler who is committed to growing a hear-centered sangha through sound. 

While Brandon uses instruments old and young, the use of sound as a healing tool is not a new phenomenon. From the aboriginal people of Australia to Native American Indians and Ancient China, sound has been used therapeutically for thousands of years. As we recall this ancient wisdom, these sacred instruments bring ancestral knowledge into the present moment and help us develop a connection with the creative and sustaining life force of the universe.


Brianna Welke Turpin, E-RYT: Philosophy & Ethics

I believe that yoga is for everyone and that we all benefit from reconnecting with our breath, bodies and authentic sense of purpose and being in the world. My approach to yoga is "come as you are" this practice is meant to meet and transform you where you are at in your own physical, mental, and spiritual life. 

I have been cultivating my own practice for nearly a decade and began my training as a yoga instructor at Samadhi Yoga Center in Seattle, Washington. I combine dynamic anatomical alignment with mindful mantra, spiritual awareness, and energetic function. My classes are both physically active and a deeper unification of the mind and body-- they'll help you get out of your head and into this moment! Aiming for balance, optimal health, peace of mind, and fun! I assist students through challenging, fun, interesting yoga classes with the belief that yoga is a unique experience for everyone!

I dabbled in yoga for years until I found myself all wound up in stress and worry that I HAD to do something. I went back to yoga. I remember a deep sense of letting go and unwinding in every moment. This profound shift inspired me to take a yoga teacher training to learn more, that changed everything. I can't wait to share it with you! Yoga is my bliss and sharing it is my dharma (purpose in life). I can't wait to share it with you!
